House in a building designed to resemble a ship, the Labuan Marine Museum or Muzium Marin Labuan takes visitors on a journey into the fascinating world of aquatic wonders.
The Labuan Marine Museum’s main attractions are a 12-meter long skeleton of a baby finback whale that washed up on Malacca’s shores in 1892 and a preserved Dugong, a legendary marine mammal.
Other marine heritage on display include live sharks, artefacts from shipwrecks, aquatic plants as well as live and preserved zooplanktons.
At the interactive Touch Pool, visitors get a chance to touch and feel marine inhabitants such as sea cucumbers and starfish.
Muzium Marin Labuan is part of the Labuan International Sea Sports Complex.
