Labuan Central Market & UTC
The new Labuan Central Market complex also houses the Urban Tranformation Center (UTC).

Built in 2014 the Labuan Central Market or Pasar Sentral Labuan is a modern complex that replaces the old public market.

Here, you will find over 150 traders selling local delicacies such as kuih, sambal sticks, sago slabs, ragi balls, ambuyat, tapai, cakes and the usual meat, fish, vegetables and dried seafood as well as fishing equipment, home decorative items, clothing. accessories and more.

The Labuan Central Market complex consists of the multi-storeyed main market building, food court, offices and parking lots.

Labuan Urban Transformation Center (UTC)

The Labuan UTC is a one-stop center providing various government and private sector services to the local community.

Established in 2016, it is located on the ground and first floors of the Pasar Sentral Labuan complex.

Facilities include a gymnasium, child care center and cafe. The governmental agencies and private statutory bodies operating in Labuan UTC are as follows:

Pejabat Perdagangan Dalam Negeri, Koperasi dan Kepenggunaan or PPDNKK (Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives & Consumerism) Receive public complaints regarding price hikes of controlled goods and storage of weighing and measuring equipment
Lembaga Kemajuan Ikan Malaysia or LKIM (Malaysian Fisheries Development Authority ) For matters related to oil subsidies for fishermen etc.
Mahkamah Anak Negeri (Native Courts) Provide management services related to customs and rights of natives as well as trustees to 4 water villages (Kg Patau-Patau I and II, Kg Ranca-Ranca Laut and Kg Bebuloh Laut)
